Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all sales, services, and agreements between Top Class Fences and Gates and our customers. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

General Terms

  1. 10% payment with order confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid before delivery or pickup.
  2. All quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
  3. All goods remain the property of Top Class Fences and Gates until paid in full.
  4. The client is liable for all costs incurred in recovering outstanding or overdue accounts.
  5. Reasonable operating costs will be deducted from the deposit if the order is cancelled after materials are packed or delivered. Transport costs are charged at the carrier’s hourly rate.
  6. Wet weather conditions may result in delivery delays.
  7. Top Class Fences and Gates reserves the right to enter customer premises to retrieve unpaid goods. The company is not liable for damages caused during retrieval and is indemnified against related claims.
  8. By signing this document or replying via email with acceptance, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
  9. I hereby agree to this quote and all associated terms outlined herein.

Other Terms

  1. Any costs associated with collecting overdue accounts must be paid by the debtor. Customer information may be shared with credit reporting agencies as per the Privacy Act 1988. If referred to a collection agency or law firm, the customer is liable for all related costs, including legal demand fees.
  2. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all details on the quote, including billing information, are accurate. Any deviations or incorrect details are the customer’s responsibility.

Statutory Warranties

  1. All materials supplied will be new and fit for their intended purpose.
  2. Any guarantees mentioned on this quote or elsewhere apply specifically to treated pine timber (H4 in ground, H3 above ground), protected against termite and fungal decay for the stated period. Steel and aluminium fencing carry individual warranties — please contact us for full details. Guarantees do not apply to treated hardwood and are limited to the name listed on the quote. A final paid invoice and quote must be presented for warranty claims.
  3. Materials used are fencing-grade treated pine, which may include knots, cone holes, pith, and other natural defects. Exposure to weather may cause shrinkage, cracking, twisting, or bowing — natural characteristics for which Top Class Fences and Gates is not responsible.
  4. Painting of treated pine is not recommended. Using unsuitable products can cause excessive warping or cracking and will void the warranty. Please consult a professional paint supplier.

Return & Exchange Policy

We aim for complete satisfaction with every order. Please review our policy below for returns and exchanges.

1. Change of Mind Returns

  • Returns for change of mind must be made within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply.
  • Custom-made or made-to-order items are not eligible for return.

2. Damaged or Faulty Goods

  • If your order arrives damaged or faulty, notify us within 7 days of delivery.
  • We will arrange a replacement, credit, or refund depending on the issue.
  • Photographic evidence may be required for damaged items.

3. Incorrect Items Received

  • If you receive incorrect items, contact us within 7 days.
  • We will send the correct items at no extra cost and organize collection of incorrect goods.

4. Return Process

  • Contact our team via phone or email (details below).
  • Provide your invoice number and a brief description of the issue.
  • All returns must be authorized before being sent back to our warehouse.

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-cut, special order, and clearance items are non-refundable unless faulty.

6. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
