Our concrete sleepers are steel-reinforced and built to last 50+ years with zero maintenance. Available in two sizes — 200×75×2000mm and 200×50×2350mm — they're suitable for retaining walls up to any practical height (with correct post spacing and drainage), fence plinths under Colorbond, and structural landscaping. Concrete sleepers don't rot, won't attract termites, and are completely fire resistant — making them the preferred choice for engineered walls and investment properties across QLD.
Priced from $49.50 per sleeper, concrete is more affordable than most homeowners expect.
For garden beds, low retaining walls, and natural-look landscaping, we stock both hardwood sleepers (200×50 and 200×75) and treated pine sleepers (200×50 and 200×75). All timber sleepers are H4 treated minimum for in-ground retaining use. Timber sleepers suit DIY builds, cottage gardens, and budget-conscious projects where the wall height is under 1 metre.
Our concrete sleepers start at $49.50 for the 200×75×2000mm size and $50.82 for the 200×50×2350mm size. Compared to timber, concrete costs slightly more upfront but eliminates replacement and maintenance costs over a 30–50 year lifespan — making it the cheaper option per year of service for most structural walls.
